Add CueSeek in Feishu

The official entry may open the Feishu app listing or a chat. If you see Get or Request access, finish that first, then search for CueSeek in Feishu.

Start in a private chat

Search for the CueSeek bot in Feishu. This is an app bot, not a custom bot.

  1. Search for CueSeek

    In the Feishu client, search for CueSeek and open the bot chat.

  2. Check that you can type

    The chat should have an input field. Send a short description of the companies you want. A reply means CueSeek is available.

If you cannot find CueSeek

The bot is only searchable after the app is installed for your company and you are in its available range.

  1. Open the Feishu App Center

    Search for CueSeek. On the app page, choose Get or Request access.

  2. Ask an administrator if you only see Request access

    Members can request an app only when administrators allow App Center installs. An administrator can also get the app for the team.

  3. Ask to be added to the available range

    If the app is installed but you still cannot search for it, you are outside the available range.

Add CueSeek to a group

Optional, and usually easier on desktop. Add the CueSeek app bot. Do not create a custom bot.

  1. Open group bots

    In an internal group, go to Settings, then Bots, then Add bot.

  2. Add the CueSeek app bot

    Search for CueSeek, open its details, and add it. In the group, @CueSeek when you want a reply.

If it does not work

There is no Get button in the App Center.

Your administrator has not allowed members to apply for App Center apps. Send them this page.

I installed the app but a feature still asks for permission.

A member install may only grant review-free permissions. Ask an administrator to authorize the remaining permissions.

I cannot add it to an external group.

App bots have extra limits in external groups. Use an internal group, or stay in a private chat.

The private chat has no input field.

The bot is installed, but it is not receiving messages. That is a product configuration issue.

Should I add a custom bot?

No. A custom bot can only push notifications and cannot hold a CueSeek conversation.
